The award ceremony, held at Kendal College was hosted by newly announced judge of The Great British Bake Off, Prue Leith.
Two of our lovely employees, Carolyn Nicol (Commercial & Innovation Manager) & Sally Kidd (National Account Manager) received the award on behalf of Bells of Lazonby.
The Judging Panel said: “We are full of admiration for this business that successfully combines artisan bakes with the ability to supply millions of consistent quality products to the likes of Costa coffee.”
Carolyn, who manages the New Product Development team said: The awards evening was very inspiring and it was such a joy to be amongst so many great companies from Cumbria with a passion for food!
The awards evening’ main sponsor was Booths, whom we have maintained a close supplier relationship with for over 30 years, supplying fresh artisan bread, cakes and bakes to their stores daily.
